- My watercolors are inspired by the beautiful foothills and the inhabitants of the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts. I paint "en plein air" whenever possible. The Hilltown Plein Air Painters keep me on my toes and we find spectacular places to paint in the Hilltowns and beyond.
